With over two decades of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, Mehul Patel brings a unique blend of precision, problem-solving, and creativity to the world of custom storage. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mehul transitioned from corporate life to hands-on craftsmanship after years of tackling his wife’s ever-growing “honey-do list.” What started as weekend projects quickly turned into a passion—and eventually, a business.
Originally from Delaware, Mehul has called the Lowcountry home for the past 12 years, where he lives with his wife, their son, and their loyal German Shepherd (the undisputed best boy). His journey into custom storage was driven by a desire to build something tangible, meaningful, and lasting— for his family, the Up Closets team and for the clients he serves.
In 2024, Mehul was honored with the Top Design Award within the franchise, a recognition of his exceptional eye for detail, thoughtful solutions, and client-first approach.
